Why - Kieran Sorkin Mirotia Fund

My 7 year old brother was born with no ears and suffering with the rare condition of Bilateral-Microtia and with a severe hearing impairment.  Kieran has had 3 operations to improve his hearing and wears a BAHA implant.  Kieran requires supplies for his hearing aid as well as private to tuition and coaching to keep him at a level within his peers.  This includes LSA‘s who work with him both inside and outside school.

 

Next year he will have the first of 2 more operatiions to reconstruct his face and give him a proper set of ears.
