We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for visiting my Race for Life page.

On Sunday 5th January 2014 I lost a man who I was extremely close with to Cancer. He established his condition quite late and by that time there was nothing that could be done. He is painfully missed and this is the only way I can think of to try and help others to one day, not have to go through what his family and friends had to. This is in memory of you, my Grandfather Mr Aaron Simpson aka Uncle Alvin.

This fundraiser will also acknowledge the successes of 2 people dear to me; my Grandmother Val Wong and friend Annette Blackwood who are both SURVIVORS!

Please dig deep and sponsor me online - it's quick, easy and totally secure (I will also post the horrendous photos of the day for your entertainment!)

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.

Gift Aid it!

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Sponsor me now, and we can become cancer's worst nightmare.

One day we will beat cancer. Help us make it sooner.
