Most of you know why I am so incredibly passionate about cancer research. 

For those who don’t… cancer has taken some incredible people from my life - all of them far too young. But in ‘cancer world’ I was lucky, lucky to get a ‘good’ cancer, that my GP diagnosed me early and that someone had found a treatment for it.

But chemo is an awful treatment, that we endure so that we can live. If I was lucky, I can’t begin to imagine the pain and distress those who aren’t ‘lucky’ have to go through to try and survive. And even then, some don’t. 1in2 of us will get cancer, we need to find a better, kinder way to survive it. 

Worldwide Cancer Research funds incredible, groundbreaking research scientists across the world. So that one day, there will be better, kinder treatments.
