We enhance NHS services and improve care to benefit users of South Tees Hospitals

Story

Our group of 8 teachers (plus our support team) are attempting to walk the FORTY plus miles of the Lyke Wake Walk to help raise funds for a much needed MRI Scanner for the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.

An MRI Scanner is an essential piece of medical equipment used to investigate almost any part of the body. At present we don’t have one at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton, which means our North Yorkshire patients have to make the journey to Middlesbrough for these important imaging tests.

“We all value the great work the Friarage Hospital does for local people around North Yorkshire. We were looking for a new challenge and a new way to raise money for such a worthy cause.”

Please support us by donating what you can to this amazing appeal.
