We're over the moon to be sponsoring, for the sixth year, the Cummins Relay and Team Challenges as part of the successful Leicester Marathon.

We've added yet another new challenge, because for some people 6.5 miles just isn't enough!!! Teams of 4 to 7 runners can enter this challenge, with each runner completing the entire half marathon, your team result will be your fastest four finishing times added together.

It’s all about raising money for LOROS, which, as many of you will know, is an extremely important and worthy Leicestershire charity. Last year, over 60 teams managed to raise £15k for LOROS. This year we are hoping to smash that and with the huge amount of interest we have had so far we are confident that with your help we can do it!

We’d love you to enter a team because every penny of your entry fee, and any money you raise in sponsorship, goes to LOROS. To boot, you get to have a great team event, some fun (honest) and, hopefully, get fit in the process - what could be more of an incentive!

For the Relay Challenges, your team of four will each run around 3.25 or 6.5 miles over the half or full marathon route. The entry fee is £100 per team and whatever you can raise in sponsorship. 

For the Team Challenge, your team of 4-7 will each run the half marathon. The entry fee for this challenge is £25 per runner (minimum £100, max £175 per team) and again whatever you can raise in sponsorship. 

All challenges start and finish at Victoria Park, where you'll be able to enjoy our hospitality tent before and after the event. Your support of this fantastic, local charity will be greatly appreciated.
