We are attempting a relay crossing of the English Channel swimming in just our costumes/shorts!

The six of us are friends who share a love of the outdoors and wanted to do something that would challenge us to raise money for a great cause!

We all love swimming in the outdoors and regularly swim in Derwent water. So a suggestion by our team leader Jill led to .... why not swim the Channel!!!!

It has been a challenge to shed the wetsuits and swim in skins but a challenge that has been worth it! It is an amazing feeling ... you should give it a go! Can we do it in the English Channel? We can with your help!!!!!

We wanted to raise money for The Great North Air Ambulance as it is a vital service in Cumbria. Cumbria is such a vast county so to have the air ambulance in an emergency to help whether doing something active on the fells or just being out and about in your car is amazing. Please help us raise money for this wonderful charity.
