Story
Hello. I'm Johnny Cullen. You might remember me writing about games for places such as Eurogamer, VG247, Official PlayStation Magazine UK and a bunch of others.
I've done a few charity streams before and raised a decent chunk of money in the process for a few charities. But never have I done before a charity stream that has certainly meant more on a personal level.
In November 2014, my mother sadly passed away. Obviously, it was a difficult time and also leading into her final days, but without the support of Macmillan and their nurses, both to my mum and our entire family, we don't know where else where we'd be. They were superstars, to say the least.
It's with that in mind that, beginning December 17, I'll be doing another charity livestream, this time over the course of four days. Yes, four days.
It begins on Thursday, December 17 from 10am and will go on for 12 hours each day until the end on Sunday, December 20. The stream will consist of thirteen games throughout the four-day period, all of which are the best games put out this year.
And there will be prizes to give away over the four-day period. I mean, there will be a LOT of them. I'll have games and more to give away during the course of the stream. You can find full details of the games lineup and prizes lineup in the update below.
I've set the fundraising target at £500, but I'm just being modest. Quite honestly and frankly, I want to raise a lot, lot, LOT more than just £500. So lets do this and lets go raise beyond and above £500.
You can watch along for everything that happens beginning December 17 here at http://www.twitch.tv/johnny___cullen.
All proceeds will go entirely towards Macmillan. And, if not already made evident, you should consider chucking some money their way. As I mentioned above, I can vouch first-hand how incredible they are. Please do donate for an amazing charity.
Thanks.
