Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my LTC page.
Inspired by the memory of my father, who died in 1992 after fighting for 5 years with the Parkinson.
This disease is a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system and unfortunately there is no cure for it.
Medications, surgery and multidisciplinary management can provide relief from the symptoms,
that is why is so important to raise money for the research.
One person in every 500 has Parkinson's. That is about 120,000 people in the UK.
I am tackling a gruelling 50 miles run challenge from London to Cambridge,
taking the opportunity to support with a donation (I hope a big one)
the Parkinson's UK charity association.
I am confident that with the right training I will be able to complete this event,
making a significant contribution to this incredibly worthwhile cause.
Thanks everyone.
