Story

This year the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is supporting SWAN UK - the UK's only dedicated support network for families affected by undiagnosed genetic conditions. SWAN UK is run by the charity Genetic Alliance UK. We want to raise £3,000 to help keep SwanUK operating and to pay for a family funday.

Life for families affected by undiagnosed genetic conditions can be really isolating. They have no idea what the future holds and struggle to access support and information.  SWAN UK events provide a vital opportunity for families to enjoy time together making precious memories and to get to know other families in the same situation.

We have chosen to support SWAN UK this year after they were nominated by Allison Rose,  Enquiries Officer. Allison has personal experience of SWANUK as she has two sons Morgan and Jayson who are swans!

Unfortunately, there are no funds available for a funday this year.  We can change that!  The Covid-19 pandemic has severely impacted the work of Swan UK and we can help.

You can find out more about SWAN UK by visiting undiagnosed.org.uk.
