London Landmarks Half Marathon 2021 · 1 August 2021 ·

The pandemic has affected our charity and the families who rely on us very badly. We have had to close our doors for the best part of a year now and fundraising events have been cancelled. We are relying on the kindness of our supporters to help us.

Story

The team at CSL are competing in a series of challenges during 2021 to help raise money and awareness for Footprints. The challenges include:

- London Landmarks Half Marathon
- Mad Hatter Swim Cornwall
- 40km Cornwall Coastal Walk
- Thames Marathon Swim
- Southampton Half Marathon
- Richmond Half Marathon
- Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon
- Manchester Marathon

Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Here is a bit more info about the charity we are supporting:

Footprints families know loneliness and isolation better than most, but during lockdowns and restrictions, this feeling has heightened beyond words. They have had to cope with the constant needs of their children with little or no support for the best part of a year. In 2020 Footprints have done as much as they can and offered virtual sessions and phone calls. We all know though that virtual is no replacement for real contact. A zoom class doesn't give the physical contact a child needs to progress, and a phone call is no replacement for a hug. Footprints future still remains uncertain unless they continue to secure fundraising. They need to be able to open their doors again when the lockdown ends to help the families who rely on them. Any help with #FundingFootprintsFuture would be amazing and mean they can continue their vital work.
