Story
Last weekend, 27 Crudwell pupils (along with parents and pupils who left in previous years) came together to take part in the Crudwell 24 hour bike ride. Pupils ranging from reception to Y6 rode a total of 55 laps between them, a massive 385 miles! They were not deterred by
the constant rain on Saturday and kept riding throughout, even completing some laps in the dark. The determination, perseverance and team work on display was awesome and we were so proud of each and every participant. The support from parents accompanying riders on their lap was amazing, many came back completely drenched from the rain (and tired from trying to keep up with their speedy children). We are excited to report that Crudwell School won the U11 cup for most laps completed and also provisionally received the second place shield for funds raised
Crudwell 'Le Mans' 24 Hour bike ride is a community fundraising event where teams of all ages and ability compete to raise the most sponsorship.
The children and parents of Crudwell School will be riding their bikes through the 24 hours to see how many laps we can do, to have fun and to raise money for the Friends of Crudwell School.
80% of donations go to the Friends of Crudwell School, via Crudwell Village Hall who run and organise the event.
Please help support the amazing children (and parents) and support our school!
