I am running this event to raise money and awareness for the charity 'Greenfingers'. And keeping in the theme I am running the 26miles dress as a Dragonfly.

Greenfingers is a small national charity dedicated to creating magical gardens for children’s hospices around the UK to support children with life limiting conditions, together with their families. Greenfingers has to date created 33 special gardens in hospices around the country, and has a further waiting list of hospices that need our help.
Naomi House: Quiet Garden - Winchester
This children's hospice in the grounds of the adult hospice needed its own area for reflection and remembrance. Greenfingers was initially invited by Brian Smith of Woodlea Nurseries (strong supporters of Naomi House) to become involved. With a water feature, paved seating area and with a stunning wooden screen
The garden was designed by Beth Munro and Green Landscapes undertook the landscaping. By creating a water feature, a paved sitting area and an arbour seat, all surrounding a central gravelled area, has created a garden with a calm and peaceful atmosphere that was warmly welcomed by all concerned. Now the hospice has the Quiet Garden it always needed.
