Story

Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here. I am asking you to give whatever you can afford at this difficult time. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not. It is that simple.

Crossflatts legend David Hall has challenged Lee Bailey to shave his head for this cause,

The Manorlands Hospice is very close to our hearts as it has looked after many of our friends and family members over the years and we hope that the money that we raise will help keep it open.

We have smashed our £500, £1,250 and £2,000 targets so now we are looking to raise £3,000 by 8pm on Thursday 7th May which is when Lee will be shaving his head for the cause.  Lee is currently sporting a Joe Exotic blonde mullet and handle-bar moustache after a wager with David Hall!

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
