‘Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.
In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week.’
We believe that fitness Unites us! That the strength and support of a community can help provide those battling with mental health a light at the end of the tunnel.
On Saturday 6th April we are inviting the community far and wide to join us for our 26.2 Hour WoDathon to help raise awareness and to raise money for the mental health charity ‘Mind’
In addition to this we have two of our members Bex an Bev running the 2019 ‘Virgin London Marathon’ on Sunday 28th April in aid of ‘Mind’. This event will be our way of showing our support and aiding them in raising as much as we can for this great cause.
