Story

As part of the #crochetjungle project Kerry Lord has designed an easy-to-make and exclusive monkey pattern.  When you donate (suggested donation £3, but please give generously to this fantastic cause) we will email you a download link for the pattern in a universal .pdf format within 24hrs of your payment. Please note you will not be sent your monkey pattern immediately, we will send you the pattern as soon as possible after your donation.

The #crochetjungle is an exciting collaborative textile installation being created to inspire imaginations, teach adults and children how to crochet and to raise money and awareness for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.

Everyone is invited to take part in Kerry Lord’s fundraising project, by helping to build the #crochetjungle  at The Clothes Show, NEC 4-8th December 2015.

Kerry Lord is the designer and author of the Edward's Menagerie crochet series. Founder of the TOFT knitwear brand, she was inspired to learn to crochet during her first pregnancy. Her #crochetjungle project intends to ignite the imagination of all who experience it and encourage all the children who have picked up their grandma’s hooks to ‘loom band’ to take their hobby further.

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital.
