Story
I have never been a runner. Not a pro runner, at least.
I started running about 5 years ago, when I made the decision to let go of unhealthy lifestyle, and start getting fitter and stronger. I didn't enjoy running at first.
Slowly, I start running to have sometime for myself: my music, my mind, my body. Time to reflect, to dream, to focus, to tell myself that, no matter what, everything is going to be OK if I just kept on running and fighting.
After each run, I feel like a newborn. I feel my lungs filling with fresh air and my sweat dripping. I feel recharged and ready to face new challenges. However, each time I went running, I felt like something was still missing. What if I could run to help raise awareness and funds to help heal the world? And so I started running for a cause.
This time I will be running Edinburgh half marathon for the first time.Wish me luck! And, above all, help me raising money to help children thrive and grow into healthy and safe human beings.
