Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit here and I appreciate your donation.

This year, young Tom lost his grandma. She had been suffering from Mixed Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia. A lovely lady that Tom misses very much. Alison's Sister-in-law, is currently suffering from advanced Alzheimers and is in a care home in Scotland. We are missing her too and it has been a particularly tough year for her daughter and son (our niece and nephew) who not only have to negotiate the covid restrictions to visit their mum in the care home but who also lost their dad to Parkinson's last February. This disease in its many guises feels up close and personal at the moment.

So, this is why Crimbletown 2020 is all about support Alzheimer's Research UK. Based upon the enormous genersity of everyone last year, we have decided that the target amount to allow the release of this year's Crimbletown video in December will be £800.
