Story
NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
On Friday 8th May at 11am I will be running a half marathon by doing shuttles on a marked out cricket pitch (22 yards) in my street (whilst maintaining social distancing). The half marathon will involve running approximately 1,050 lengths of a cricket pitch and will be measured using my GPS and my wife, Emma, painstakingly counting each run! I am particularly missing the cricket season with Crowthorne and Crown Wood CC so will be wearing and carrying full cricket gear including batting pads, gloves and bat. I am hoping to run this in around 2h 30m.
Please forward this to friends and family and donate whatever you can to support our NHS .
Thanks, Rich.
