Story

Those who know me well you will understand health and exercise are not my first love, so this is the first step in changing me into a lean, healthy human, but more importantly I'm running the marathon for the charity the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. I had heard of the condition, but leant more after Ashleigh, told me about her brother, who died of CF in his teenage years. CF is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease. CF causes thousands of young people to die each year. A person born with CF has a life expectancy of just 31. Advances in treatment through gene therapy are it seems getting closer and closer to a cure and wiping out this condition, this is really exciting and I hope you can spend a few minutes and a few pounds helping to eliminate it.
