We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

This year I will be tackling the iconic London-Edinburgh-London Cycle ride; the goal is to complete the 1500km ride in under 125h. To make it a real challenge I will be attempting this on my Brompton folding bike called Tinkerbell. That's got to be worth a quid or two!

Why Parkinson's UK? Just over eight years ago my mum was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Since then Parkinson's UK,  and especially the West Herts branch, have supported my mum and my dad in a multitude of ways. I would like half of the funds raised to go directly to the group to make sure that they are able to continue with their amazing work. I would like the other half of the funds raised to go into the central funds to make sure PUK can continue to support research to find a cure for this devastating disease.

Thank you for your donation. The lovely people at Parkinson's UK will spend it very wisely!

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
