On 14 March 2019, some of the team at Crane and Staples will be taking part in the March for March campaign, walking just over a mile around Welwyn Garden City, to raise money for East and North Herts NHS Trust so that they can purchase two interactive play mats for children at the Lister Hospital. 

The projectors display sensory games onto the floor so children can play puzzles, read books & create art- taking their mind off their injury or illness. The play mats would help up to 30,000 children each year feel less anxiety and stress, as they are distracted during waiting times and more relaxed so it is easier for staff to administer treatment. The mats would also reduce stress and anxiety for at least 30,000 parents and carers, as their children are entertained during their waits.
