Fundraising for Dementia UK
Hi, I’m Craig and I’m supporting people living with dementia and their families by fundraising for Dementia UK.
Dementia is a devastating and progressive condition which is estimated to affect 1 million people in the UK. It can rob people of their memories, their independence, and their dignity.
That’s why I’ve decided to take on a series of running challenges to raise money for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity which provides free, life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia. Their nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, work with families to help them cope with the challenges of dementia and provide them with the expert support they need.
Every donation, big or small, will make a difference to the lives of people with dementia and their loved ones.
I love running and I’m always looking for new ways to challenge myself. That’s why I’ve signed up for a variety of running races, from half marathons to ultra trail races. Here are some of the events I’ll be taking part in:
These are not easy races and I’ll be pushing myself to the limit. But I know that every step I take will bring me closer to my goal and help Dementia UK continue their amazing work.
If you’d like to support me and Dementia UK, please donate whatever you can through this page. Your donation goes directly to Dementia UK and will help them provide more Admiral Nurses across the country.
You can also follow my progress on my social media channels, where I’ll be posting updates, photos, and videos of my training and races. You can find me on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.
Thank you so much for your generosity and encouragement. Together, we can make a difference for people with dementia and their families.
