It has always been an ambition of mine to complete a triathlon before the big 40! And with that birthday just around the corner, it is now or never!

The Salford Triathlon enables me to fulfill this ambition BUT more importantly it enables me (with your help) to raise money for a very important charity- The Christie.

My wife, Caroline, has been under the very watchful eye of The Christie for two years now and we have nothing but praise for their care, support and professionalism.

It is hard to watch your partner go through what Caroline has and at times I have felt pretty useless. By doing this triathlon, I feel I am doing a little bit to support both my wife and the fantastic team at The Christie. If you would like to show your support then please sponsor me today.

The Christie will use the money raised through my sponsorship to purchase a new mobile chemotherapy unit. The new unit will benefit those patients who currently have to travel long distances for treatment.
