In January 2014, my Mum was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer.  Given months to live, she passed away in August 2014.  The Margaret Kerr Unit cared for her in her final weeks and the attention and dedication from the staff to their patients as well as family and friends is unrivalled.  I want to thank them for all their support during my Mum's time there and give something back.

On June 17th, just a day after my birthday, my Mum would have been 71 and I want to climb Pen Y Fan as many times as I possibly can within 24 hours.  I have never done it and have not trained for it - I want to go in as unprepared for it as my Mum was when her world came crashing down at the devastating news.

I want to live stream my experience to prove that I have done it and for something to look back on in years to come to show how hard I worked and how I gave it my all for something so close to my heart.
