Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
9 years ago my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Everything that could be done for her was, including surgery and chemotherapy. The cancer became controlled, but due to the original spread, remission would never be given. Over the last 9 years, the cancer has grown in size and strength on 3 several occasions, resulting in this week, Mum going in to start her 4th cycle of chemotherapy.
She is such a strong and determined woman. Without her outlook on life and her courage, this would be such a harder thing for our family to deal with. She is a fighter and will continue to fight.
We can put a man on the moon, why can't we find a cure for cancer?
This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
