I will be running the Manchester 10k for Kidscan in memory of my dad who passed away in March 2013.

Just over two years ago, suddenly and unexpectedly, my dad passed away. Having spent his whole life being fit and healthy it was a huge shock to my whole family and everyone else he left behind and he continues to be hugely missed.

Two years later and he is still constantly in our thoughts. Having run the Manchester 10k for the past few years, my brother, sister and I are once again taking part in his memory and to raise money for this important charity that our dad was a long time supporter and patron of.

So if you can spare anything in support of them and in doing so help us pay tribute to our dad, we'd be grateful.
