On Sunday 20th September I am running the BUPA Great North Run, 13 miles. I hope to raise £1000 for a charity called Clic Sargent. Clic are a Childrens Cancer Charity offering financial and emotional support to Families experiencing childhood cancer. 

Every 48 hours 10 children are diagnosed with Cancer or related life threatening illness in the UK. Dealing with this life shattering news is really tough, from first hand experience I know how difficult it is. 

It is almost 4 years since my wife and I were told our beautiful daughter Caitlin had a life threatening Illness, I am running on Sunday in memory of Caitlin. Please dig deep, last year I managed to raise almost £4000 for Clic, so £1000 should be no problem...... Since Monday evening (14th September, this week !) £755 has been donated. I am really overwhelmed by everyones support and generosity.
