Story
The world is currently going through a health crisis that most of us will never see the likes of again. Health services are working as hard as they can in order to try to keep their communities as safe as possible, and Rockinghorse is no exception. As the NHS priorities focus on COVID-19, now more than ever do they need our help.
Please help to keep providing essential support to The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, Trevor Mann Baby Unit and other services for sick children in Sussex.
Such projects Rockinghorse is funding for is the purchase of 12 camp beds for throughout the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton so parents are able to stay with their children during their hospital stay. During the current Covid-19 virus situation, the Royal Alex are having to use bed-spaces that they may not ordinarily have to use. They are also using more space than they would normally for sick children which means that there is little or no space for parent’s to be able to stay with their children.
Having had our fair share of overnight stays at various hospitals, including the Royal Alex, we totally understand how heart-breaking it is to be away from your sick child for a prolonged period of time, much like a whole night.
So, join me on Saturday 16th May as I attempt to do as many burpees as possible (significantly) throughout one night to help raise money for those who, right now, desperately need more than ever.
