I am jumping out of a plane at 15,000 ft (2.5 miles) to raise money for Bradford children charity 'One In A Million'. The charity provides weekly sports, arts, education and enterprise programmes to children & young people mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds. Helping them break through barriers of deprivation and inequality in order to achieve their full potential, many of whom live in the top 1% most deprived areas of the UK. Following their success of the last fundraising event in 2010, the funds raised enabled them to complete the build of their first classroom to facilitate an alternative educational unit. This year they aim to raise even more funds to further the commitment to support the children and young people of Bradford. Latest Child poverty figures show that over 19,000 children in Bradford live below the poverty line. One in a Million is committed to improving the lives of these children & young people, many of whom are from some of the most deprived areas in the UK.
