We have all been touched in some way with cancer. I've been inspired to do something slightly difference to help raise funds for the wonderful charity, The Christie who do make a huge  difference to the patients and their families with the battle against cancer.

I'm taking part in a world's first and that is to walk coast to coast wearing flippers! Along the way I will be carrying out further flipper challenges that will help me build up to my ultimate challenge. Like the Salford 10K (20k for me).

Why? Well it goes back to the very early 90's where I attended a beach party at my local pub wearing these very unique footwear (see photo). I had such a fantastic night and because of that night I have decided to bring back the experience on the streets of England. This will be very challenging and will involve training in public spaces wearing this unique footwear. Eyebrows will be raised!!

I would love for you guys to help me on my journey and help with the battle against cancer. Please put your hands in your pockets/purses and contribute to my cause.
