Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad passed away to a better place on 28th January 2014. I say a better place because he suffered at the end and this was my first encounter with a family member and the dreaded disease CANCER. I told my Dad i was going to start running and would run the Half Marathon in October. I did this so that i could help him focus on being there for the day. He won't be there in person but i started running not long after his death and for those who have been through this you will understand when i say "he will be there really"..

Please give whatever you can however small as this money goes to help find a cure for a disease that effects all our lives in one way or another.
