Our RNLI lifeboats in Northern Ireland protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

Story

June 16th 2020. It’s three years since we tragically lost my son’s best friend, Vincent. His memory forever burns brightly in our hearts and he lives on through the decisions we make that shape us.

In a small way I want to continue to honour Vincent’s life and to also recognise the bravery and skill of those members of the RNLI who put their lives at risk to save others and who sometimes have to live with the trauma of losing someone in a rescue attempt.

So, I go again, same distance, different city. I’m aiming to better my previous PB and better my previous fundraising total (4:02 and £3.6K). Thank you for whatever you’re able to give 🙏

Going through the pain barrier for you again Vincent 💪 wish me luck!
