---------- 3 mountains, 3 countries, in 24 hours ----------
The National Three Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) are the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. The challenge is to climb each of these three peaks – one after the other, all within 24hours!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
I appreciate times are tough right now as we tackle the ongoing pandemic, Brexit, the Ukrainian war and now, the cost of living crisis! Nevertheless, charities and fundraising efforts have been adversely affected by all of the above so now, more than ever, is a crucial time to give whatever you can.
The
Greenfingers Charity, for whom this challenge will be raising funds for, builds therapeutic garden spaces at children’s hospices across the country, helping to create sanctuaries and places of quiet reflection for those children, friends and families that call these hospices ‘home’. As we’re doing
3 mountains in
24 hours, we are hoping that you might be able to spare just £
3.24? to support our efforts. Every bit penny helps and whatever you can give will be hugely appreciated. If you’re feeling generous, why not donate £
32.40? 😊
I, along with two others, will be taking on the renowned National Three Peaks Challenge which involves climbing the three biggest mountains in England Wales and Scotland within 24 hours. In isolation, these are difficult feats but with the added time constraints and driving between each mountain ourselves, the challenge becomes so much more complex.
