Story
Update 09.05.2012, I have now walked 1,128 miles around the Ladybrook Beat which now means that I have walked more than the equivalent distance as from London to Venice, Italy.
My walk has taken me from Buckingham Palace via the Eiffel Tower past Geneva, Milan and Brescia, finally finishing in Venice. :)
Heartfelt thanks for your continued support and donations!

I aimed to walk London to Venice - 1,008 miles whilst on duty as a virtual walk, starting at Buckingham Palace and then setting off to Dover. Using the Channel Tunnel I passed through Calais and headed for Paris. Once at the Eiffel Tower, I headed towards Dijon and then on to Geneva in Switzerland, with Milan being the last stop before the final destination of Venice, Italy.
Firstly it raises much needed money for cancer research, something which touches all our hearts. It also proves to my beat's community at work that I am dedicated to patrolling the streets by walking these miles.
I thank you all so much for your kind donations and for your continued support !! I will continue to keep walking until I reach the goal for fundraising now.
I would like to say a big thank you to 'Rock Fall' of Alfreton, http://www.rockfall.co.uk/, for the kind support they have shown in my sponsored walk last weekend and for aid with my new footwear as my old boots had worn out and had now got holes - not good for the continuing wet and (very) cold weather.
Thankyou!
