I've been fortunate to receive an entry into the London marathon for the first time, I have been applying for the last 7 years. 

I will be running my first ever Marathon at the ripe old age of 45, crazy I know, but it's always been something that I've wanted to do and I'm in no doubt it'll be a very rewarding challenge. 
 

I'm going to use my place in the marathon to help raise funds for Create a dream foundation.

Create A Dream Foundation are a registered charity setup to help seriously ill children and young people in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire region. We help to make their dreams come true by helping to fund gifts and experiences. We understand that the dreams of each individual child can be as varied and fantastic as each child themselves. We aim to do all we can with our resources to make these dreams a reality No matter the size of the dream, we will do what we can to make it come true.

So please help me  in raising some much needed funds for a truly amazing charity!
