Kevin's story

Towards the end of 2017, our colleague and valued team member Kevin Chessum suffered from a stroke

Kevin has always been a lively and active colleague, friend, father and partner who enjoyed life - whether it was acting, running after a rounders ball or joining in for a couple of beers he would be there!

As with many stroke victims, the road to recovery for Kevin has been a slow one. But Kevin has always been a fighter and he's made a lot of progress in the last few months.

He has spent the majority of his rehabilitation time in Queen Mary's Hospital regaining his mobility. He is now finally able to move with the aid of a stick and is back home for the remainder of his recovery.

#CR4KC

To show our appreciation for the support Kevin has received with his rehabilitation, the team wanted to do their bit to raise money to help other stroke survivors.

Through our Capital Ring 4 Kevin Chessum event(#CR4KC), we're  fundraising to support Stroke UK and the Friends of Queen Mary's Hospital.

How else can I help?

We'll be posting updates on LinkedIN and Twitter using the hastag #CR4KC in the run up to the big event. If would really help us if you're able to help us by liking, sharing and re-tweeting these posts to raise as much awareness and money for our charities.
