Folks, throughout the month of November, I wanted to do my little bit to help support an organisation and a cause close to my heart! 

As I'm sure most of you know, I have lost both of my grandmothers (Evelyn Nelson and Margaret "Rita" Shaw) to Alzheimer's Disease in 2009 and 2012 respectively. Both of them unfortunately started to suffer when I was at a young age, so I may only have very few memories of what they were like before they suffered this terrible affliction, but I know the impact they had on me and those around me was profound!

I'm sure most, if not all, of us have known someone or know of someone who was or is currently affected by Alzheimer's. I have had the pleasure of volunteering as a Marshall for the last 8 Memory Walks completed in Stormont in Northern Ireland and I felt this was the next step I could take to provide a bit of added support and time for this wonderful cause! I hope that one day we can live in a world where no-one ever has Alzheimer's again but for now, I'm doing my part to raise money to ensure we get closer to that goal - and your donation will help towards it. **I should stress - not one single penny of this money ever arrives with me, it goes 100% directly to the charity!**
