100km Biking in February · 1 February 2021

Around since 1923, SAMH currently operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland. These services together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, sport and physical activity; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

Story

During the month of February by little boy and me took part in a challenge of doing 100km on his balance bike. Raising money for SAMH. Mental health is something close to my heart and wanted to raise a little awareness  and funds.

Lockdown has been challenging for everyone mentally. Getting outdoors and biking has made it a little easier.

My 2 year old loves his bike and we had so much fun getting out everyday no matter the weather. Mental health is so important for children and being outdoors has such a massive impact on his behaviour positively. We did a mixture of off-road, skate park and indoor cycling, cycling to and from nursery every day

Thank you for sponsoring us on our little February challenge. .
