Brain tumours kill more adults and children under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the nations spend on cancer research is allocated to this devastating disease?!

Generally, around 15 out of every 100 people with a cancerous brain tumour will survive for 10 years or more after being diagnosed which is not a high number at all...therefore more research (and fundraising) needs to be done! 

On the evening of Friday 23rd October I will be walking a 10k walk around our village of Haworth and surrounding areas (where my Mum loved to walk her dog Archie!) to help raise money to go  towards this charity. This is because I don’t want anyone to go through losing one of their loved ones to this awful cancer as my family has had to.
