We train amazing hearing dogs to transform the lives of deaf people

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Courtney Gurney, I am turning 16 this May. Instead of a "sweet sixteenth party" I want to skydive for a charity that I thought would be wonderful as I am deaf myself.

There is nearly 10 million people that suffers from hearing loss, over a half million people are severely or profoundly deaf and we want to help as many people as we can with the money raised.

With the money, we can give hearing dogs to people who have hearing difficulties which will improve their quality of life at home. The hearing dogs will not only offer support but companionship too. There are many people with hearing losses who are lonely, withdrawn from their community as they feel they don't fit in but with the dogs, they will help them to fit in and to be happier.

I would appreciate your time and support as it would improve so many lives.
