I have decided to run the London Marathon on Sunday 21st April 2024 for Worldwide cancer research.

Worldwide cancer research is a UK charity that aims to end cancer by starting new cancer cures worldwide. Since 1979, they have invested £200 million in 2,000 research projects in 35 countries across the world and this is only made possible by donations and fund raising. Cancer is set to be the biggest killer by 2030 and therefore the work of worldwide cancer research is more important now than ever.

Cancer is currently an illness that is very close to my family as my older sister is currently battling cervical cancer and I would like to do this marathon to both honour her and help fund research into her survival and recovery.
