Story
While every case of nystagmus is different, the effect of nystagmus on depth perception means that negotiating stairs can be a challenge. That's why I'm taking part in 'Step Up For Nystagmus' to raise awareness of this aspect of the condition and to raise funds for nystagmus research.Join me!
Nystagmus means involuntary movements of the eye. It impairs vision, affecting focus and depth perception. At least 1 in 1,000 babies are born with nystagmus. There is currently no cure. The Nystagmus Network is based out of the UK and is a registered charity which provides world wide support, raises awareness and funds research.
