Fundraising for Samaritans
Story
In 2022, we are celebrating our five year partnership with Samaritans. The last two years have been challenging for everyone but throughout our charity partner, Samaritans have been available to listen, 24/7 to anyone struggling to cope. We want to help Samaritans keep their important phone lines open.247 is a Costain Group fundraising campaign for 2022.
In support of this the Costain SHE Leadership team will be walking up Snowdon on the 15th of September. Suicide is the leading cause of death in men and women under 50 in the UK, and the rates in the construction sector are amongst the highest of any sector. We are supporting the Samaritans to continue to provide the vital services they deliver to vulnerable people 24/7 all year .
