Story
On Christmas Eve, my dad lost a very quick and brutal battle with lung cancer.
Like many of you, I have known and still know many people who have both survived cancer and also, like my dad, lost the fight. However, I was ignorant to the true horror of the disease and naive about the extent of the pain and suffering.
He was cared for by St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne and I want to express my thanks for the kindness, care and professionalism that was shown to him, me and my family during his time there. It is because of this that I am taking on the 50k London 2 Brighton Trekking Challenge and asking you to please sponsor me.
