Story
Since May 2020 I have been sharing photos of Cornwall on Instagram as Cornwallfromafar. It hasn't been possible to visit Cornwall, but it has been fun to share memories and connect with new people.
It's now time to give a little bit back to the local community and support Children's Hospice South West at this difficult time. This charity means a great deal to me and I have supported them for many years now. My grandmother died in a hospice in Cornwall. As a parent, it is hard to comprehend a child going through similar. The support that CHSW provides is invaluable and allows families to take time to make their own precious memories.
So, thank you for supporting Children's Hospice South West. Here is a message from them.
This is an unprecedented time for everyone. For the wonderful children and families that we support, there are a great many additional challenges because of fear, lockdown and isolation to name but a few. Like all charities at the moment, most of our sources of income have all but dried up. We are very concerned about the future and our ability to raise money to ensure that we can continue to deliver the support services to our children and families.
