It’s a worrying time for the entire nation, but for many of our residents those worries are particularly heightened. It’s our job  to fill the hearts and minds of all our beloved residents with as much love and joy as possible whilst enhancing their physical and mental well-being. 

Now more than ever your support matters. We are raising money to fund our home with more activities for our residents to enjoy.

Some of our residents at Pengover have advanced dementia and can’t usually engage fully during our standard activity sessions. This is why we are trying to raise money for our residents to receive specialised sensory equipment for their engagement and enjoyment. 

Anyone living with a form Dementia can find life confusing and isolating. By handling soft and tactile items it can often re-invigorate their memories and can lead to meaningful discussions and returning memories. This is why we believe sensory items are extremely valuable within care homes.  

By helping us raise the money required for these items would be an extremely kind gesture and would change our residents lives for the better.
