The Cornerstone University Athletics Summer Leadership program exists to:

• develop student-athletes as Christian leaders on an individual level. (Personal Growth)

• develop a community of leaders with Cornerstone Athletics who are empowered and supported to impact their teams, programs, and campus for Christ. (Corporate Growth) 

• support participants in a deeper understanding of their talents, personality, and spiritual gifts to discern their roles and impact on their upcoming teams this year.

• allow for practice on specific spiritual disciplines (Worship, Prayer, Bible Study, Quietness) 

• offer guidance in developing a vision for the participant's calling. 

• provide opportunities for teamwork growth to deepen relationship connections with leaders from other teams. 

• deepen participant's knowledge and understanding of authentic leadership and community. 

• provide an opportunity for participants to renew their passion for Jesus, the Church and His calling on their lives now and for the future. 

• begin to pursue a clearer vision of the impact this group can have on their teams now and for the ripple effect after they are gone.
