Story

As I am sure is a surprise to many of you, I am running the London Marathon this year. I am running this in aid of Action Medical Research which is a charity my family and I have supported for some time. There is more information on the charity below, and of course online (https://action.org.uk/), but a simple summary is that they do great stuff in medical research for children and Paddington Bear supports them too! I am very grateful for all your donations which will help me get through the distance but far more importantly help the great work this charity does!

"Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing childrens lives through medical research. For 65 years weve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we cant do it without you.Join our fight for little lives."
