The Friends of St Luke's Cancer Care supporting St Luke's Radiation Oncology Network Dublin was established to provide cure, care and comfort to the patients attending St Luke's Hospital and St Luke's Radiation Centres at St James's and Beaumont Hospitals.

Story

It's been about a year since I finished my various treatments for my 2nd bout of cancer so I would like to try to raise some funds for Friends of St. Luke's.

I was in hospital for 102 days, either as an in-patient or a day-patient, throughout my treatments so I decided to run 1km for each of those days during the month of July.

Friends of St. Luke's help raise funds for the care and treatment of patients going through radiotherapy, providing medical equipment and maintenance of same.  Both St. Luke’s in Rathgar and Beaumont hospital have provided me with many services and support throughout both my periods of cancer.  They provided counselling, social services, nutritional information and many more services which helped me and my family to cope with my illness.

Any donation would be very much appreciated! Thank you!
