Story
What if we have an accident? A question I’d never asked before 2016! We got our answer! Could I run a marathon? Another question I’d never asked....... (drum roll).... until now!
So in April 2022 I’m going to attempt to answer the latter question by taking these little legs 26.2 miles at the Manchester Full Marathon. I’ve done five halves and before I’m 40 I’d like to go the whole way! It’s only running for 5 hours isn’t it..... eeeeeeek!
In 2016 the NWAA made the BIGGEST difference to us as a family and they were there in our time of need! Our family and friends know the story but for anyone who doesn’t click the YouTube link underneath. Whilst we are all fine and our accident is in past, it will always be part of us and has shaped the family we are today. We are extremely lucky and I look at my little monkey’s (I mean absolute treasures) and I remind myself never to get complacent because you never know which kerb ball you’ll be thrown on what is seeming like an ordinary day!
Please help try and make a difference to the next family by donating a little or a lot! You REALLY WILL make a difference! NWAA is a charity and people’s sponsorship and support help maintain the amazing medical care and rapid response that we received.
We never fail to be grateful that NWAA exist every time we get up on the Lakes fells, get on a horse, play sports, go out on our bikes or get in our cars! Superheroes in yellow 365 days a year 24/7!
Thank you soooo much in advance for your help and support! Now to get on with the last two months training!
Love Corinne and family xxxx
